Adobe Creative Cloud Licensing Changes – March 25, 2019

Adobe has changed their licensing model for the campus Creative Cloud applications.

Current Faculty & Staff who are using the Adobe Creative Cloud work at home license or sign-in with the Named-User licensing (SDSUid) must be re-licensed. If you do not use any of the previous methods, you do not need to take action.

Users must re-license themselves via Kivuto Web Store “OnTheHub” and follow the steps listed below:

  1. Go to https://onthehub.sdsu.edu
    1. The site will route you to the Kivuto Web Store “OnTheHub.”
  2. Sign in with your SDSUid
  3. Select Adobe Creative Cloud and then Add to Cart.
  4. Purchase Adobe Creative Cloud
    1. Faculty and Staff cost $0 (Zero).
    2. Students cost $25/year
  5. Log out of your Adobe Creative Cloud Applications and quit the desktop icon if you have it open on the menu bar.
  6. Restart your computer.
  7. Wait for an email from Adobe Creative Cloud confirming that you have access to all the applications.
  8. Sign into Adobe Creative Cloud applications with your SDSUid
    1. Must click “Log in as Enterprise User” link
  9. Under ‘Creative Cloud’, click ‘Download Apps’ which will allow you to download the applications. The first app you install will re-install the Creative Cloud Desktop.

*The license is good for 1 year and will need to be renewed annually.
